No. Since we are a private-pay practice, you do not need a referral to schedule an appointment with us. However, we are happy to collaborate with your pediatrician or primary care physician if you wish.

We are an Out-of-Network provider and do not bill insurance directly. We operate on a fee-for-service (private pay) model. Payment is due at the time of service.

We choose to work for you, not the insurance company. By remaining private pay, we can:

1. Protect your privacy: We are not forced to share your diagnosis or records with a database unless you choose to.

2. Ensure quality: We are not limited by insurance caps on session time or testing hours. We do what is clinically necessary, not just what is "covered."

3. Avoid surprise bills: Our pricing is transparent. You will never receive a denial letter or a surprise bill months later.

If you have a PPO insurance plan, you may have "Out-of-Network" benefits. We can provide you with a Superbill (a detailed medical receipt) that you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. Our reports are written specifically to translate into educational accommodations. We also offer direct advocacy services, including reviewing paperwork and consulting on IEP goals.
