Yes! We understand that taking time off work or pulling your child out of school adds stress to an already stressful situation. We offer flexible night and weekend appointments to accommodate busy families.
-
We pride ourselves on expediency. Unlike many practices with 6-12 month waitlists, we can typically schedule your assessment within 2-3 weeks. Contact us today to schedule your intake.
-
No. Since we are a private-pay practice, you do not need a referral to schedule an appointment with us. However, we are happy to collaborate with your pediatrician or primary care physician if you wish.
-
We are an Out-of-Network provider and do not bill insurance directly. We operate on a fee-for-service (private pay) model. Payment is due at the time of service.
-
We choose to work for you, not the insurance company. By remaining private pay, we can:
Protect your privacy: We are not forced to share your diagnosis or records with a database unless you choose to.
Ensure quality: We are not limited by insurance caps on session time or testing hours. We do what is clinically necessary, not just what is "covered."
Avoid surprise bills: Our pricing is transparent. You will never receive a denial letter or a surprise bill months later.
-
If you have a PPO insurance plan, you may have "Out-of-Network" benefits. We can provide you with a Superbill (a detailed medical receipt) that you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. We recommend calling the number on the back of your card to check your specific benefits.

Behavior and language are deeply connected. A child who "doesn't listen" might actually have a receptive language disorder. A child who is "defiant" might lack the words to express frustration. By having an SLP consult on relevant evaluations, we ensure we aren't misdiagnosing a communication barrier as a behavioral disorder. This leads to a much more accurate diagnosis and better treatment plan.
-
No. We provide comprehensive evaluations and therapy for adolescents and adults as well. We often help adults who are exploring a late diagnosis of ADHD or Autism to understand a lifetime of "masking" or social struggles.
-
Absolutely. This is one of our specialties. Because our lead clinician is also a Licensed School Psychologist, we speak the school's language. Our reports are written specifically to translate into educational accommodations. We also offer direct advocacy services, including reviewing paperwork and consulting on IEP goals.

ItemIt is not a scary medical procedure!
For Kids: It looks like playing games, solving puzzles, and looking at pictures. Most kids enjoy the one-on-one attention.
For Adults: It involves interview questions, logic puzzles, and questionnaires.
We break the testing up with breaks to ensure you or your child don't get fatigued. description

Approximately 1-2 weeks after testing, we will schedule a Feedback Session. We will sit down with you to review the results, explain the diagnosis (if applicable), and provide a detailed report with recommendations for home, school, and work.
